The TS3 Series subwoofers feature a robust, long-excursion woofer optimized for powerful low-frequency performance, mounted in a compact cabinet carefully crafted from wood ply. This solid, resonance-free material has near-perfect acoustic characteristics, ensuring that the subwoofers' performance is always accurate and punchy. Each of these TS312S, TS315S and TS318S models embeds nearly twice the amplification of previous models to deliver up to 1000 watts of continuous power offering a comfortable power reserve and moreover a superior sound pressure particularly calibrated for sounding out larger events.

For a subwoofer to fit perfectly into a sound system, it has to be a perfect match for full-range speakers. This is where Alto Professional's TS3 series of subwoofers really excel. The subwoofers offer a DSP with six presets optimized to match the frequency response and crossover of the subwoofer to the speakers they are connected to. Four of these six tuning options are available for use with Alto Professional TS2 and TS3 series speakers, while the other two options (Hi-Pass or Bypass mode) ensure a perfect match even with full-range speakers from other manufacturers.

Design techniques used in the US by Alto Professional's engineers, such as finite element analysis (FEA), have optimized the speaker's magnetic structure and maintained minimal air gap for maximum sensitivity. The voice coils are densely wound to ensure maximum input signal utilization, and bonding techniques ensure high strength under high temperature conditions for unmatched system reliability. Each of the subwoofers is equipped with a 2000 watt amplifier (1000 watts continuous) with a proprietary limiter circuit that provides a high level of electronic and thermal protection in all situations.
