It was alongside founder Stuart Spector that Ned Steinberger implemented the "form begets function" philosophy to design the NS-2 bass guitar in 1979, which then featured two pickups. The Euro series takes the philosophy of the NS-2 shape, sculpted, curved and ergonomic, to offer the Spector spirit but with top-notch European craftsmanship.

The Spector Euro Bolt series, as the name suggests, is made in Europe and designed around a 3-piece torrefied maple 5-point screw-in neck. These basses also feature a roasted maple fingerboard. The fingerboard is inlaid with elegant and precious mother-of-pearl markers. As for the body, it is made of European alder.

The Euro Bolt models are equipped with Aguilar pickups and an OBP-2 active electronic circuit from the same brand, for a sound palette with impressive versatility and clarity.
