This

solid case concentrates quality digital technology and

integrates all the modern features a contemporary and nomadic bassist expects. The dual pedal features a highly efficient preamp section with 3-band, semi-parametric EQ for the midrange to fine-tune frequencies between 150 and 940

Hz. A Drive section is also present with a gain knob, but

also a Blend setting allowing to adjust the mix between signal

preamp and drive. The Nux Bass Preamp also integrates a Noise Gate with the

decay and threshold settings that can be adjusted by pressing and holding the

footswitch Drive. A cabinet simulator / IR loader (

decay responses) is integrated to simulate a bass cabinet on your

amp output, headphones and DI if needed. You can also download your own IR.

Connections side, this preamplifier is ultra complete and

flexible. It has an instrument input and an auxiliary input

mini-jack to play your favorite songs. For the outputs, you

have a large choice depending on applications and

configurations. A Throught output allows you to send the signal without

preamp/drive processing or cabinet simulation to a bass amp. The main output allows to have the preamp/drive signal with the cabinet simulator on or off. A DI output is designed for a

direct send to an XLR format mixing console offers

routing with ground switch. So you can choose to send the

signal without preamp/drive processing (Pre position) or with the

preamp/drive processing (Post position), and to activate or not the

speaker simulator! Very practical and versatile depending on your

configuration. Finally, a headphone output allows you to practice in total

silence for your entourage.

also serves as a powerful audio interface for your recordings, and the free dedicated software allows you to control the premap,

drive, noise gate part even more easily. You also have access to a choice of two preamps (MLD and Aguilar), as well as 4 different IRs (speakers

8x10 inches, 4x10 inches). It is also via this software that you can

download your own impulse responses (IR) and customize

so even better your sound!
