This family business based in the Hamasaka region of the Land of the Rising Sun, whose origins date back to 1873, began its history with the manufacture of sewing needles, a precision activity that already foreshadowed its future! Manufacturing diamonds and cantilevers since 1966, which made its reputation, the brand has continued to innovate while maintaining traditional manufacturing techniques, and now offers its own cell holders, cells and diamonds for the happiness of all vinyl lovers.

The brand has worked hard to provide audiophiles and DJs with an alternative to the famous Shure M44-7 and N44-7 cartridges and diamonds, true legends that have shaped the history of Hip-Hop and scratch music. On this Omnia J44A-7 DJ, JICO has integrated a J44A-7 moving magnet cartridge, featuring performance equivalent to the Shure M44-7 cartridges of the era, with powerful bass and a smooth, balanced sound.
The N44-7 DJ stylus, with its Type S tubular aluminum cantilever precision-worked to closely match Shure cantilevers, combined with an integral (bare) diamond, provides excellent vinyl groove guidance and increased playback skip resistance, while giving you high definition audio quality.

A model optimized for DJs.
This complete kit offered by JICO, which reproduces sounds very close to authentic Shure cartridges, benefits from improvements made by the brand to best meet the needs of DJs. The force of support has been increased from a maximum of 3g for the Shure model to 4.5g for this JICO model to ensure better tracking for the most demanding scratch sessions. And to protect the diamond in all circumstances, this model benefits from a protective flap that folds down over the pen to prevent any harmful rubbing.
