PRIMACOUSTIC STRATUS-G Stratus - Absorber - grey

The Stratus is delivered in kit form and is easily installed with a screwdriver. The kit includes a 5 cm thick high-density glass wool panel and suspension material. The glass wool is encapsulated with a finely woven fabric and the edges are treated with resin to retain the fibres. For the final appearance, the panel is covered with an acoustically transparent fabric that gives style and appeal. The suspension material consists of two lightweight aluminium rails and L-shaped corners that form a rigid frame around the panel. To hang the Stratus, simply attach the supplied suspension wire. Ceiling hardware and fixings are also included in the kit. The Stratus is usually suspended above the console and grouped into a panel covering the width of your console and listening area. The Stratus absorbs sound energy by converting it into heat. The Stratus absorbs sound energy by converting it into heat. This thermo-dynamic energy transfer effectively absorbs directional sound energy and prevents it from reflecting back to the listening position. The thickness of the panel is 100% effective for frequencies between 400Hz and 20kHz. In order to control a wide range of frequencies, the Stratus can be tilted to vary the angle between the panels and the ceiling. This allows the interior surface to also absorb reflections from the ceiling.
