Thus, this bridge position pickup is designed with a pair of well overwound coils stacked with Alnico V magnets. The overwound provides that sought-after massive sound and the stacked coils eliminate the buzz of single coils. As a result, the BG1400 emits a slightly more compressed signal than a conventional equivalent but perfectly balanced, with a nice attack, thanks to the Alnico V, and just as much presence on each string.
His 4-conductor design offers the possibility of wiring with a switch to select only one coil out of the two.
Handcrafted at the Seymour Duncan workshop in Santa Barbara, California (USA), the BG1400 Telecaster Bridge Pickup moves from the Custom Shop to the standard catalog, reducing manufacturing cost and time.
