Many connection possibilities

Solid Studio can be connected in different ways, depending on how you want to use it. Placed after a pedalboard, it can be connected to an amplifier via the Thru output in order to have an unprocessed return, and directly to a mixing console in parallel via the emulated output for recording or sound reinforcement. It is also a perfect solution for silent recording, by connecting a pedalboard in Solid Studio to output to a mixer or audio interface. Finally, it is also possible to use your guitar amplifier with Solid Studio, by interposing the pedalboard between the amplifier and the speaker. The speaker connected to the Thru output via a speaker cable acts as a listening system, while a recorder or mixer connected to the emulated output picks up the processed sound from the amplifier, which is also connected from its speaker output via a speaker cable. Since Solid Studio is not a loadbox, it is imperative to connect the speaker to the Thru output to avoid damage to the amplifier.

Powerful, scalable pedal

Beyond its ability to emulate speakers, microphones and onboard speakers, Solid Studio not only allows you to load high-resolution (2048 samples and 46ms) speaker impulse responses with near 1 millisecond latency using NUX Solid Studio software, but also to capture impulse responses. All you need on top of that is a microphone and an external microphone preamplifier, and that's it!
