For all that, the MX5 doesn't make any concessions on power and audio quality compared to the Gigboard and the Pedalboard. Indeed, it still embeds the quad-core processor and DSP system of its big brothers, delivering the highest quality sounds across all 46 amplifier models, 15 speaker models combined with 10 microphone emulations and 67 premium effects. These legendary amp and effect models feature exceptional precision and dynamic response, which you can enjoy right out of the box with the many built-in presets.

An efficient and optimized interface.
Just like on the Gigboard and the Pedalboard, the MX5's interface is centered on a touchscreen to control all the essential settings and create your scenes with ease. The high-resolution 4-inch screen allows you to literally drag and drop the various elements of your sound system-amp, cabinet, effects, etc.-wherever you want, in any order, without any difficulty. The lower part of the screen has 3 slots interacting with the 3 available footswitches, allowing you to activate or deactivate effects or amps, to change rigs or a hybrid between these two modes, depending on the mode you choose. Let's not forget the possibility of setting up real scenes, allowing you to activate, deactivate and reprogram an entire rig with a single press of a switch!

An ultra-configurable quality expression pedal.
The MX5 integrates a high-quality expression pedal, offering two modes of operation: the Classic mode and the Advanced mode, completed with a switch allowing you to toggle between Banks A and B. Classic mode is ideal for those who want to assign two different pedal types, such as a volume pedal in A and a wah pedal in B. Advanced mode allows you to assign up to 4 different parameters to each bank (A and B), such as the gain or volume level of an amplifier, the intensity of an effect, and to set the stops of each parameter independently. This incredible mode allows you to control many parameters simultaneously, offering limitless creative possibilities.

All the necessary connectivity.
The MX5 will fit seamlessly into your current setup thanks to its comprehensive connectivity, therefore allowing you to deal with any type of situation both on stage and in the studio. These include a 1/4" guitar input, two TRS outputs, a 1/4" stereo auxiliary input, a 1/4" headphone output, a 1/4" Midi input and output, and a 1/4" stereo send/return loop. Also find a USB port, which will allow you to record in studio quality to your computer (up to 24-bit 96 kHz), transfer your presets and loops, and easily download future HeadRush updates for the MX5.
