After the worldwide success of the highly acclaimed MPC Live with producers and DJs, succeeding in improving this autonomous workstation was a feat. It was without counting on the experience and know-how of Akai Professional! Called MPC Live II, this autonomous music production station takes up the strengths of its predecessor, by offering a large, ultra-bright 7-inch multitouch touchscreen, a powerful multicore processor, 16 backlit performance pads sensitive to velocity and pressure. spread over 8 banks, supplemented by 4 assignable QLink touch potentiometers. Five new buttons, such as Mute, Time Correct and Mix, are added to the MPC Live II interface, allowing you to edit and modify your tracks in the blink of an eye!

MPC Live 2 takes advantage of the powerful MPC Software developed by Akai Professional, now available in version 2.8. Usable completely autonomously, the MPC Software 2.8 can also function as a plugin in many DAWs on Mac and PC, or as a completely independent application offering very advanced piloting, management and editing possibilities for your MPC. This update brings in particular the Multi Midi, allowing you to connect and simultaneously route all your Midi studio equipment, such as USB keyboards or Midi interfaces, bringing the input / output capacity of the MPC Live II to the summits. The icing on the cake, the MPC Live II also has a multitrack recorder, making this autonomous production system the heart of your production configuration.

Designed to be at the heart of your production activities, in the studio as well as on the road, the MPC Live II had to be equipped with all the necessary connectors. With its three pairs of TRS jack format outputs, its Phono Rca input, its pair of line format inputs to record or sample an external device and its headphone output, the MPC Live II is ready to face any situation. Let us not forget the 4 brand new CV / Gate outputs, offering 8 channels, which will allow producers to control their sequencers directly from the MPC, completing two pairs of Midi I / O in DIN format.

The MPC Live II, the real cockpit of your studio installation or the engine of your nomadic creativity, is capable of communicating with a large number of devices thanks to its multi-protocol design. The available USB port, which allows connection to your computer in order to interact with MPC Software or any other compatible CAD software, is completed by a Wi-Fi connection allowing you to directly source your songs on your Splice account or join an Ableton Link network. Finally, the MPC Live II has a Bluetooth link to communicate with compatible devices, such as compatible keyboards.
