The secret of the PZ-Pre lies in the combination of a 100% discrete class A piezo booster, a preamp that will fit any type of microphone and an impressive amount of connectivity that will allow you to respond to any situation, live or studio. The PZ-Pre has 2 inputs to quickly change instruments on stage without having to unwire anything, a powerful and warm semi-parametric EQ to sculpt your sound and a host of controls to suppress feedback, namely: a dual-Q notch filter to surgically remove feedback-causing frequencies, a low-cut filter to suppress low-frequency resonance and a phase switch that is useful in all circumstances. The PZ-Pre has 3 separate outputs:- a 6.35mm jack amplifier output- a balanced XLR Pre-EQ output for the front mix- a balanced XLR Post-EQ output for the returns. There is also a tuner output, which in combination with the MUTE switch allows you to tune silently, as well as an effect loop and an adjustable boost to bring out solo passages.Compact and easy to use, the PZ-Pre has all the necessary and indispensable functions for the acoustic instrumentalist on stage or in the studio.
