This is one of the most popular and respected jazz guitar pickups in the world. The SH AZ-49 has the same features as the famous AZ-48, but is mounted on the guitar top instead of floating. It features a very wide frequency pickup for a warm, precise and balanced jazz sound. The magnet pads are adjusted to provide balanced restitution of and clear definition of the strings when playing chords. The coils are fully shielded and sealed with vacuum epoxy for reliable, noise-free performance. The straight frequency response allows each note to be heard distinctly when performing chords.
