The system is offered with single or dual receivers in a wide choice of ready-to-use configurations. The various transmitters can be powered by AA batteries or with an optional Shure Ion-lithium SB903 rechargeable battery, for reduced running costs.

The SLX-D series is of course compatible with the entire existing range of Shure accessories and antennas.

The SLXD25/SM58 digital wireless portable system offers transparent 24-bit digital sound and robust RF performance for videographers, ENG and field production, film and outdoor PA applications. Up to 32 compatible systems can be used per 44 MHz band, thanks to easy installation and optional rechargeable accessories. The SLXD2 features interchangeable microphone capsules for use with a wide selection of Shure vocal microphones. Includes SLXD2 handheld wireless transmitter with SM58® cardioid dynamic vocal microphone, SLXD5 single-channel portable receiver, two zippered carrying pouches and two pairs of AA alkaline batteries.
