But the new features don't stop there, thanks to first-of-its-kind tom suspensions that rival much more expensive systems. Indeed, the OptiLoc system consists of high-performance rubbers that result in maximum sustain and great resonance in all circumstances. Not to mention that this attachment system adapts in no time to your usual playing position.

Poplar and mahogany.

Wood-wise, Pearl has achieved the feat here of relegating the crate-wood barrels of certain low-cost brands to the dwarf closet in favor of a six-ply combination of poplar and mahogany, an obviously winning combination. The same concern for quality can be seen on the various stands, notably the snare drum and cymbal stands featuring the UniLock system, which is extremely effective in any position.
