The quality of Korg sound is universally recognized and appreciated by musicians around the world. The first arranger in the series, the Pa300 delivers a rich, accurate yet natural sound, with musical instruments from virtually every genre offering depth, nuance, subtlety, reliability and richness. Over 950 sounds are pre-installed, including 64 drum kits. There's also an incredible stereo acoustic piano, a faithful reproduction of the sounds of a concert piano, which includes sustain pedal resonance.
Note here that sounds can be customized and changes can be saved in the user interface (download OS v1.5.0 for this).
2 - A full range of effects
Tuning the sound is as important as choosing your instrument well. For many years, Korg has been developing amazing studio quality effects. The Pa300 has 4 stereo master effects processors, featuring a total of 125 effects including the classics reverb, delay and chorus or some of the famous REMS effects that guarantee authentic guitar sounds. Each track has a 3-band EQ. A custom EQ made for one of the tracks can be stored in the general preferences of the Song Play mode. This will help you tailor the sound to your personal taste, no matter what Midi file you are using. Need less bass? Save the setting that suits you, and the bass will be lowered on all your next songs.
Finally, a 4-band parametric EQ is added to the Pa300's sound output. Everything can be managed from this powerful EQ. Tailor the sound to your musical preferences or correct it depending on your problem, especially at gigs.
3 - Styles are professional quality
Paired with this high sound quality, the Pa300 features a new series of styles developed by some of the world's best-known arrangers, each bringing their unique skills to the table. The result is more than 310 pre-installed styles that are exceptionally realistic. Covering a wide range of musical styles, you'll find the right one for almost any situation.
Korg has taken realism a step further by adding 4 fills/breaks as well as 3 intros and 3 endings. The choice of different transposition tables gives you more flexibility, and Guitar Mode 2 opens up new horizons.
Also with OS v1.5.0 (or later), you can record and insert your own styles into the Pa300.
4 - Features to help you compose
Automatic accompaniment with rich and precise support patterns that have been created by professional developers from around the world, will offer you useful ideas for your arrangements. Simply play a sequence of notes and the Quick Record function will complete the basic backing tracks. The Pa300 is a simple yet powerful composition tool that can be picked up by any musician.

The Pa300 is one of the easiest arrangers to carry around, but its high-quality amplification system is no less impressive, with 2 x 13W bass-reflex speakers that deliver a rich yet powerful sound.
6 - Easy to use
With all the technology on board, it was vital to ensure that the Pa300 remained easy to understand and use. The dashboard has been revamped and the graphical interface is based on a 5-inch colour touchscreen.
There are two interface modes, Easy and Expert. So a musician of any level can easily take control of the Pa300 and perform the music he or she likes. Of course, the Easy mode focuses on the main features of the Pa300 while the Expert mode introduces all of them.
The quality of your live performances will now depend only on you and if you don't know where a file, song or style is, just use the Search function. The Pa300 will find it for you.
7 - Play any song and read the associated music score
The Pa300's built-in player can play MID, KAR and MP3 files. It can also play lyrics or notes in these same formats. A traditional score is also available.
