runs on the +48V phantom power supplysupplied by your audio interface or mixer.
Bypass mode lets you not
use the built-in preamp, if you prefer to send the unamplified signal
from the mic into your console or interface. In this case, the mic takes up
the original performance of the SM7B.
Frequency response extending
from 50 to 20,000 Hz, low-cut filter and equalization to boost
presence, the SM7dB makes several sound signatures available using
switches on the back of the microphone, to suit any type of voice or instrument.
