Modulation effects have been widely used since the 1970s, as they can subtly or radically transform the sound of an instrument and magnify it. Among these effects, one of the most famous is undoubtedly the chorus, which thickens the sound by demultiplying the original signal on different frequencies while applying a slight delay. The result is a "12-string" effect that makes your chords sound more ethereal. With adjustments, this effect can be likened to a flanger or pitch modulator. It was with this in mind that EBS developed the UniChorus Studio Edition, which has become a true standard in bass effect pedals, here in its latest Rev2 version.

3 modulations in one pedal!

The UniChorus SE Rev2 remains fundamentally a chorus pedal, specially designed to respect the lower end of the spectrum and thus conform as closely as possible to the sound of a bass or keyboard. It features two simple controls that adjust the depth of the effect and the speed of the sine wave, but that's not all! It's complemented by a 3-position selector that offers a choice between a classic chorus, a pitch modulator (P.M.) that's akin to a highly accentuated chorus with a more substantial delay, and a Flange mode that essentially handles midrange frequencies and is akin to a flanger.

The UniChorus SE Rev2 remains an all-analog pedal (very quiet) and with true bypass, fully respecting your sound when deactivated within your effect chain! Able to operate in stereo for the most beautiful sound effect, this new SE Rev2 version also features an optimized signal path, a new switching system and greater power supply flexibility. And the last hidden detail: an internal trimpot lets you adjust the mix of the effect signal compared to the bypass signal, perfect for fine-tuning your sound.
