EKO S300BLK Starter - Type Strat Black

This classic configuration has been taken up by Italian manufacturer Eko to make the S300 an accessible and ergonomic guitar with its light weight and welcoming curves, but above all very versatile for budding guitarists.

The S300's luthiery has been crafted with the utmost care to offer guitarists a guitar that's pleasant to play as well as to look at. The body, made from basswood to provide good strength, is highlighted by a glossy varnish. The 4-point screw-in birch neck is paired with a South American roupanà fingerboard bringing softness and warmth to the drier accents of basswood and birch.

Electronics-wise, the S300 features 3 single-coil pickups with proven versatility. Very comfortable on clean sounds and light saturation, they can also be very biting when combined with powerful distortion. The 5-way switch expands the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions (low, middle and high) associated with each of the three pickups offering clean and powerful sounds, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel to obtain deeper and smoother sounds. The vibrato block incorporates independently adjustable bridges to best adjust the action and harmonics of each string, and a classic vibrato to add some character to the playing.
